2BD/2BA + Pool Lounge

Our client (a successful hard-working couple with two school aged kids) called us for help designing a Pool House ADU. They wanted the Pool House to serve double-duty as a Pool Lounge and Guest House.
The Pool House would be used almost daily during the Summers as a place to relax and shower after the pool, and the Guest House would be used primarily by the in-laws that are frequent visitors.
We used every last inch of the 1,200 sqft allowed under the Los Angeles ADU ordinance to create a beautiful ADU that addresses all our clients goals.
The plan feature 14' vaulted ceilings with exposed beams in the Living Room and Kitchen, a full-size kitchen, two good sized bedrooms, and two luxury bathrooms.
The Pool House ADU is a great example of what can be accomplished and designed under the State of California's new ADU laws.
