Our client needed a three-bedroom, two-bathroom home large enough for a family of four — without leaving their existing property. We designed a 1,200-square-foot ADU that pushes California's size limit while delivering the volume, storage, and livability of a traditional single-family home. The 14-foot vaulted great room, kitchen island, and private patio make the Franklin feel far larger than its footprint.
